Why Brittany is Running:
Working People Are Falling Behind. Brittany Is Stepping Up.
Three years ago, Brittany began participating in a series of community conversations about why working families are falling behind. Those conversations became part of The Deciders, a documentary about everyday people realizing the system isn’t working for them.
In conversations across Columbus County and Robeson County, from rural towns to tribal communities, Brittany kept hearing the same thing: wages are too low, costs are too high, and too many elected leaders have stopped listening.
People from Columbus County to Robeson County asked for meetings. They asked for help. Too often, no one showed up.
Brittany did.
And that’s why she’s running: to fight for fair wages, affordable living, and a brighter future for people right here at home.
